IGNITE THE STAGE AWARD
A NEW AND EXCITING RECOGNITION IS COMING TO GLOW DANCE COMPETITION IN 2027!
This award would be exclusive to GROUPS AND LINES of all Levels. One Winner will be selected per Regional Weekend, but multiple nominees are possible.
Eligibility:
* All competitive levels qualify: Emerald, Sapphire, Crystal, and Titanium.
* Any group or line is eligible.
Judging Process:
This is a judges pick. Groups and/or lines that leave a lasting impact.
It could be (not limited to)....
* Exceptional technique and clean execution.
* Incredible performance quality and stage presence.
* Powerful storytelling and emotion.
* Outstanding energy and entertainment value.
* A routine that simply commands the stage from beginning to end.
Whether it’s a tiny group, a senior line, or even an adult routine, if it creates that unforgettable moment, it deserves to be recognized.
Presentation:
The dancers complete their routine and exit the stage as normal.
If Selected to be an "Ignite the Stage Nominee":
* The on-stage screen changes.
* The lighting shifts to a unique look.
* A special sound effect or music cue plays.
The dancers are then invited back on stage to receive an Ignite the Stage nomination banner.
Receiving the banner means they have officially been nominated for the Ignite the Stage Award, which will be presented during overall awards at the end of the competition weekend.
The final Regional Ignite the Stage Award winner is selected from those nominated. This Routine will receive a custom Trophy.
This award isn’t about achieving the highest score. It’s about delivering a performance that leaves the judges saying “wow.”
